Zum Alten Nussbaum in Schwanheim

We tested goose to go yesterday and the taste and quality did not disappoint. A great way to bridge the gap until the next possible visit. We look forward to more dishes to go!

Very good food I ate veal cheeks with chestnuts, nettle soup, parfait of figs. Was very pleased. Price performance ratio is right Attentive service. Very nice ambience.

The food is very tasty, tastes homemade. The service is nice and friendly, the food arrives at the table quickly. Card payment (EC) possible. Unfortunately, the prices are a bit excessive.

The food tastes good, something could be done on the decoration. For a feeling like in a modern village economy you should eat here :)

During our vacation in the Palatinate, we were guests of the old Nussbaum on a Sunday noon. For us it was one of the tastiest, roundest meals ever! Completely harmonious ambience, incredibly delicious food, great service. But above all, a TOP implemented hygiene concept in Corona times. We felt very comfortable and long for the moment to eat there again! A tip: reserve early and one dessert is easily enough for 2 people ;-) (although you can't try a second one, of course)

The restaurant and the garden are very lovingly and comfortably furnished and there is excellent food and a wonderful vegetarian menu. You have to reserve in advance.

The food was very good, the dessert to melt away. A very attentive, friendly service, here the guest is still "king". A green, colorful atmosphere. The four of us felt very comfortable. 💕

You can go hiking in the area around Schwanheim and Hauenstein. But actually we only do this so that we can end the hike in the Old Walnut with an excellent meal. Top quality, very nicely arranged in a rustic atmosphere. The next hike is already planned

The service was friendly, but the star, otherwise no idea why rated so well. We waited 1 hour for salad and a small soup with toddler. Unfortunately the food was not tasty. Dressing was sour and boring. Soup almost only cream ... At the next table you could see that the meat was dry. Totally overpriced shop! Don't come anymore.

Great food, friendly service in a cozy environment

Our visit started off poorly when they informed us that we did not have a reservation despite making one the day prior. So we got seated in the Keller, it had the smell of a Keller. But maybe it was from all the various items in the house, making it look like a flohmarkt. The food was not anything special considering the wait of 1 hour and 45 minutes! We concluded that we would not go there again. However, the beer Garten did look nice.
